Quick & Easy No-bake Chocolate and Biscuit Squares

Ingredients

  • 200g (1 packet) Marie Biscuits

  • 250g Butter

  • 500g icing sugar, sifted

  • 30g/75ml cocoa, sifted

  • 1 free-range egg

    Method

    1. Crush biscuits with a rolling pin until fine.
    2. Using a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. 
    3. Add the icing sugar and cocoa; and stir until the mixture is smooth.
    4. Add in the egg and beat quickly.
    5. Remove the saucepan from the stove and mix in the crushed biscuit pieces.
    6. Place mixture into a rectangular dish (about 27cm x 16cm) and press to level out evenly.
    7. Allow to cool in the fridge. When the mixture is set; cut into squares. Keep refrigerated.
